Season 29 was meant as a quiet season with only 1 goal: get enough points to remain in division 5, so the team can participate in its first tour. In the meantime Jef Pragt's top form would be recharged.
Instead of season 29 ending up quiet, in the last few weeks the team's formation got shaken up quite a bit. Hector Rohan and Tjeerd Oorschot left to make place for younger climbers: Jan Hilberts (25) and Radek Sliwinski (21). Jan Hilberts excellent climbing skills will make him Jef Pragt's first support, while he will also get a lot of chances to get results for himself. Sliwinski will ride in support of both Jef and Jan while he finishes his training. And hopefully he will be able to get results for himself near the end of season 30. Both Jan and Radek will make their debut on day 12 of next season.
Earlier it was announced that Walter Sturkenboom, a 200+ climbing talent from the talent feature would be signed on day 1. The recent acquisitions mean his arrival has been put on hold, due to a lack of money. If there's a lot of funds in the first half of the season he might get hired, otherwise he might be rejected.
Season 29's goal, to get enough points to remain in division 5, has not been reached. This means season 30's goal, to get a good result in MRT, will also be hard to reach. We'll need 2 more results to make it, and there are only 2 chances to get them. So the pressure is on.
Next to participating in MRT, in season 30 the team hopes to expand to 11 riders, and to finish training Brecht Frans and Radek Sliwinski.
